Others acted in faith: Gideon, Barak, Sampson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, the prophets, etc.
We, too, are to live by faith (12, 1-3), resisting sin, accepting discipline, striving for peace, living morally, worshipping God (12. 4, 7, 14, 16, 28), loving each other (13), remembering our life is temporal and our destiny eternal (14).
